By car:
From Oslo you have to follow road E18 in direction Drammen. After Drammen you take road E134 to Notodden, you have the possibility to take road rv 361 or road rv 37 to Rjukan. Drive through Rjukan and follow the road 37 in direction Rauland. After 30 km you see a small sign - VARLAND - Turn to this direction. After 12 km you arrive at the end of the road. Here you will see only an parking area. Welcome in Varland.

At both airports you have the opportunity to come by bus to Rjukan. From the airport it goes with the Flybussen (Airportbus) to the Oslo Centre bus station. They drive in short regular intervals. From here, the Rjukanekspressen starts.
