I'm born  June  8 1961 born in Cologne Lindenthal.I`m the happy mother of three children and grandmother of two sweet grandchildren. Now when I`ve settled in this beautiful area by lake Møsvatn, I feel that I`ve come home.

I live here together with my family on an old cosy farm together with totally 44 sleddogs.

I`m completely spell - bound by the sport of driving with sleddogs and the close bonds that ties me to my dogs....

In fact in the beginning I just wanted to have a dog that could acompany me on my bicycle trips. Because of troubles with my back, my doctor recommended that I had to quit playing handball and suggested that I should get occupied with some other sport. And then I got the dog Chan, an Sib.Husky.

Thanks to an friend, I participated in my first sleddog race in 1985.

Since then I`ve not been able to stay away from this sport. Beside my family, driving and tending of the dogs has become a major part of my life.

What makes me so facinated by this....?

Dogsled driving is very exhausting - and at the same time wonderful and magic.

I had absolutely no idea of how humans and animals grow together trough common experiences in the nature.

Today I live together with my famly in Norway and live by the words of George Bernard Shaw:
