Winter and Wilderness at Varmevoll Lodge

Join in on a true winter adventure. In close team- work with well trained sled dog, you will be introduced to the beauty of the Norwegian mountains, as well as it`s stern ways.
The trip starts at Varland (12 kilometer north of Arabu, at Riksveg 37)-
The participants will be picked up by snowmobile, which will take them out on an approximately 15 minute journey across the ice of the frozen lake, over to Varmevoll.
At Varmevoll, we will say hello to the dogs, and learn how to drive and steer the dog sled.
Then the excursion will begin; approximately a 2-3 hour drive across the frozen ice at lake Møsvatn and into the mountains near by the lake. After the trip, lunch followed by something warm to drink, will be served by an open fire, before the participants will be transferred back to Varland by snowmobile.
